How it works
1. Connect & Discover
Browse the website, look through my portfolio, and read the About Me page to get to know myself and my style. Check out my Facebook or Instagram by clicking the icons located in the bottom right corner of every page of the website. I'd love you walk you through any part of the process, discuss packages or locations, or hear about what you're looking for in a photographer.
2. Plan & Prepare
When booking, you'll choose your package, date, and time slot. We'll both sign a contract and the retainer is paid at this time. After booking, you'll have a personal consultation with me via Zoom, Teams, or video call. We'll go over your ideas for the shoot, decide on a location, and you'll tell me all about who is being photographed so I can be fully prepared to meet everyone's needs on picture day. We'll discuss how the photoshoot will flow and answer any lingering questions you have. You'll be provided with guidance on wardrobe choices, and you can show me any pieces you'd like an opinion on.
3. Capture & Deliver
The day of the photoshoot I'll meet you at the agreed upon location at the scheduled time. If weather doesn't agree with us, we'll decide on a time to reschedule to that works for everyone. We'll typically start by walking a bit to the most picturesque area at that location, or it could just be the first of many. We'll start with some icebreaker prompts to warm everyone up and allow them to relax into the session. I'll continue with detail shots throughout the shoot, and we'll capture some playful and movement shots and wrap the session up with the more posed pictures. Of course, this outline is completely flexible and is altered to suit each family as needed, so if your kids are telling me we need to go a different way, then that's where we'll go. I'm here to capture your family and their connection, however that may unfold. When the shoot is over, I'll make sure everyone makes it back to their vehicles and on their way. The timeline for receiving your photos varies according to which package was purchased, but will be between four business days and two weeks. You'll get an email letting you know your gallery is ready with a link to view it. From your gallery, you can download your purchased digital images and order print products.

My goal is to help you feel comfortable from inquiry to booking to picture day to gallery delivery. I want you to feel informed and have your questions answered. While I do have five daughters of my own who keep me really busy (who feels me there?) I always strive to answer clients as soon as possible. I never want you to feel confused, unsure, and definitely not unheard. FAQ
How do I book a photo session with you?
How long does it take to get your photos?
Turnaround time varies by package purchased, but can be as little as four business days or up to two weeks. See package descriptions here to learn more.
How many photos do we get?
That varies by package ordered. To view the different packages and how many images are included in each, click here.
What should we wear for our session?
After booking and during your personal consultation, you'll be provided wardrobe guidance including colors, fabrics, styles, and what to avoid.
What happens if the weather is bad?
If the Oklahoma weather doesn't cooperate with us, we will reschedule. This decision is typically made the evening before, but sometimes not until the day of if it's not definite bad weather. All efforts are made to reschedule within two weeks of the original session date, but if schedules of all involved don't allow for this, a date that works for everyone will be selected.
Do you help with posing?
Yes! I start with more general prompts that are meant to elicit more relaxed, candid-style shots but before we end the session, we do go through a series of traditional posed portraits. Throughout the whole session, I will be guiding you and letting you know what I would like you to be doing, as well as correcting any little things like hand placements or lifting the chin. I will not leave you standing there awkwardly wondering what you should be doing.
Is there a deposit?
There is a 30% retainer due at booking. This can be paid via credit card, bank transfer, Affirm, or Klarna.
Are payment plans available?
Yes! When you book your session, at checkout, you can choose to pay either your retainer or full balance through Affirm or Klarna. You will be directed to their website for approval.
How far in advance should we book?
Spots fill up quickly once opened, so if you have a specific date or date range in mind, it's best to book as early as possible. For fall sessions, booking at least four months in advance is recommended. But if it's last minute and you need pictures, if there's a slot open, I only require one day notice to get you booked.
Do you know a location?
I know many locations around the OKC metro that are great for photographs. Open fields, foresty, manicured park, greenhouse, lakeshore, country road. Just let me know the vibe that you're going for, and I can offer some suggestions, and if not, I'll find a location that fits. If any members of your family have physical limitations, we can find a location to accommodate those too.
Do you travel?
Upon request, I do travel outside the OKC metro for photo sessions. There is a travel fee that is based on distance. Contact me if you have questions about a travel session or would like to book one.
Can we customize a session?

Can I order prints or albums through you?
Absolutely, and I'm probably a little biased, but I do recommend that you go that route. Your online gallery comes complete with a store where you can order prints and print products including albums which are produced by high-quality print labs that are tried and true for producing gorgeous, true, and lasting products that you won't find at the big box vendors. They will also correct any issues with their products and have fantastic customer service so you can feel safe ordering through the gallery store.
